For the members of Excal who are casually hardcore:
1. Pre Raid Rules
a. Sign ups: Each raider shall sign up via the correct forums on heroesofexcalibur.proboards.com/. Raiding spots will be given on a first post, first serve basis. In all raiding posts, detail your ilvl and select ONE preferred role. Do not "fill" as it makes the raid harder to plan for. If you are not one of the top eight posters, you will automatically become a substitute in any cases or events that a slot for your preferred role opens up.
b. Be on time and be ready: If you signed up for the raid you are expected to be there on and for the time allotted. Not AFK, in another raid or in a dungeon run. Be prepared to raid. Take care of bios, make sure you have the fight unlocked and make sure you have the right ilvl for the fight. If you are late or unprepared, you forfeit your spot from the starting line up and a substitute may be instituted in your stead. Let's be courteous to those who are on a schedule.
c. TeamSpeak 3: Every raider shall be on TS3 for the duration on the raid.
d. Gear/Food: Every raider shall ensure their gear is repaired and the proper food is on hand before entering the raid.
2. During the Raid
a. Communication is key: The raid leader has the floor for all calls and strategies. Keep all sidebars on team speak and in party chat to a minimum and ensure all proper sounds are turned on for key mechanics. All criticism SHALL be constructive and stated in a way that will help the raid overall.
b. Good attitudes are mandatory. In keeping with our general rules, every raider shall remember that we are a casual FC raiding for fun and thrills. Be cool, calm and collective during what would otherwise be a stressful fight. We are your FC and there is no better time to learn then with your teammates and family.
c. Calling it quits: On the slight, slim chance that multiple wipes occur and the allotted time is winding down, the raid leader will review each raid member and determine the overall mood and status of raid fatigue. It is ok to move the raid to another scheduled time and there is always tomorrow.
3. After the Raid
a. Loot Drops: No begging or griefing. Mains come before alts. If you can need, you have priority no matter what.
b. High fives, good games. Raids can be stressful. Emotions run high. But at the end of the day, we are all guildmates and a FC family. Never leave TS angry, talk out the issues, thank the party, give dues where they belong and ggwp all involved.
We want to explore everything this game has to offer the Heroes of Excalibur and raiding is a portion of that. As long as we keep these simple rules in mind and we maintain willing spirits to learn and grow, there is no enemy by land, air or sea we cannot overcome.
